Loss.
Loss is to no longer have something that you previously did have. The people who have to move from their houses because of rising prices of houses, due to gentrification, lose not just their houses, they lose their homes. A home, a place central in the life of a person or a family. To lose such a place is to lose a portion of what is reality to a person. A person lives in a house, is based there. To lose this house is to have no place to be, to live. It affects your identity. To have settled somewhere is to be at peace with yourself in that place and area.

Horror.
I chose the word derealization earlier, but I actually meant something that can more accurately can be grasped by the word horror. True horror is not just something that is scary, true horror is to lose your grip on reality. To lose (a part of) your identity would be true horror, the more acute the more horrifying. Also to lose your place in which you feel at home, a place where you can rest and recover, be yourself, to simply be, to be secure and safe, to lose this part of your reality is horrifying. Definitely if it is against your will and this part of your identity or this place you've lost meant a lot to you.
